TABLE STAKES

Everything a trade portal must have, before anything else.

None of this is a differentiator. It is the price of being taken seriously by a distributor, and it is all here. The screens below are built from the product's own design tokens, not photographed.

Per-partner contract price

Two partners open the same article and see their own negotiated net. Nobody sees anybody else's, and nobody in the back office is asked to confirm it by phone.

And where it came from. Every net carries the price list it was read from, the tier that applied, and how old the reading is. A price with no provenance is a price your partner will ring up to check — which is the call the portal was bought to prevent.

Live stock, per warehouse and per source

Availability across your own warehouses and your supplier feeds, current, with the delivery estimate that follows from it.

And how sure it is. Each figure states whether it is exact, at-least, or unknown, which kind of source produced it, and when it was last read. A stale number presented as fresh is worse than no number: it gets promised to a customer.

A whole order, pasted

Forty lines out of a spreadsheet, an email, or a WhatsApp message from the workshop. Every line comes back parsed, matched and priced.

Line by line, not all or nothing. A malformed line is corrected on its own row with the correction offered; the other thirty-nine go through. Batch refusal is how a portal loses to a phone call.

Ordering, credit and the ERP

The order posts as a proper document into your ERP. No one re-keys it, and the partner sees the history, the open balance and the documents without asking.

The limit is a decision, not a wall. Over the credit limit, the order becomes a request routed to a person with the numbers in front of them — because the answer to a good customer at 103% of his limit is usually yes.

05 / 05

Your best partner checks a price at eleven at night. The line shows 0 in stock, and every trade portal stops there.

This one offers the alternative it can prove is technically equivalent, shows which attributes matched, ranks by what the sale actually earns you, and never once calls it the article that was asked for. The order that would have been a phone call in the morning is a confirmed line tonight.

THE PART THEIR PAGE DOES NOT HAVE

And then the shelf is empty.

A trade portal's real test is the line it cannot fill. Four tiers, each naming its own provenance, offered at the moment of failure rather than on a separate calculator page.

Tier Offered to the buyer How it was reached Origin
1The article requestedThe catalogue record.catalogue
2Technically equivalentComputed from recorded attributes. Only what a source actually published is compared.computed
3Approved alternativeStated by the seller, shown with the fact that a person approved it.stated
4Near, not equalComputed, labelled near rather than equal, and the differing attribute is named.computed

A substitute a person approved is never dressed up as something the software worked out, and something the software worked out is never dressed up as approved. The buyer is told which he is looking at, every time.

There is no similarity score. A number lets a buyer read 0.87 as “close enough” without ever seeing which attribute differs — so the difference is named instead of scored.

THE OTHER SIDE

B2B and B2C, on one catalogue.

Most distributors end up running both. Running them on two systems is how the shop promises a delivery date the warehouse never agreed to.

B2B PORTALThe trade counter

Contract prices, credit limits, quotes, order requests, approvals, documents. Built on the NERVE engine with your ERP behind it.

per-partner net · credit decisions · immutable quotes · rescue at point of failure

B2C STOREFRONTThe public shop

The same catalogue and the same stock truth, turned outward — where an invented delivery date costs a refund rather than a phone call.

one product record · one stock reading · one integration to your ERP

VERTICALS

The industry is a pack, not a rewrite.

Same engine, different vocabulary. If your articles have attributes, substitutes and an ERP behind them, the engine already fits — the pack is the work.

TyreRUNNING

Dimension, load index, speed rating, DOT year, energy label. This is the pack in the open demonstration.

PROOF

We have no client logos to show you.

A software company's homepage is normally a wall of them, with a percentage under each one. We are new and we have none, and putting a stock photograph where the evidence should be would tell you exactly what we are worth.

So here is the product instead. It is on the internet, it is running, and the password is printed on this page. Walk in without asking anyone, without a form, without a call, and decide for yourself in ten minutes. A logo can be licensed. A working portal cannot.

access wordDEMO

Every price, stock figure and delivery date inside is synthetic. Nothing you do places an order.

HOW IT IS BUILT

Rules that fail the build, not rules in a document.

Anyone can write a standard down. These are the ones a commit cannot get past.

A pure domain

The commercial logic is a package with no I/O — no database client, no HTTP, no framework. It can be reasoned about and tested without a server, and a pricing or substitution decision cannot quietly come to depend on a request.

The brand cannot drift

A test suite reads every stylesheet and fails on a raw hex, an rgb(), a CSS named colour, an inline style, or a font size that is not on the scale. A second teal someone eyeballed at 2am never reaches a screen.

Contrast is measured

Every text-on-surface pair in the design system carries its measured ratio in the token file. Nothing ships as “probably fine”.

Provenance travels with the number

A stock figure carries the kind of source it came from, whether it is exact or at-least, and how old the reading is. A surface that cannot state where a figure came from does not print the figure.

Three languages, structurally

EN, HR and DE are a message layer the components read, not strings living inside them. A new screen cannot be born monolingual.

Fail closed

Conflicting sources do not resolve to the newest one. Missing authority does not resolve to a default. Both resolve to a refusal the buyer can read and act on.

LIMITS

What we deliberately do not do.

Every vendor's site lists what they have. This is the other list, because you will find it out in week three anyway and it is cheaper for both of us if you find it out now.

Card payments

A trade counter buys on invoice against a credit limit. We route the limit as a decision a person makes, and we do not pretend a card terminal is the same thing.

Promotions, vouchers, baskets

Consumer commerce mechanics. Well served by ordinary shop software, and not what a distributor's desk needs.

Vehicle lookup by make and model

A large database serving a consumer choosing two winter tyres. Real work, genuinely useful, and not our buyer. Others do it well.

Replacing your ERP

Your system of record stays the system of record. NERVE prepares and routes commercial requests; the authoritative system decides. Anyone offering to replace both at once is selling you a two-year project.

WHO

You will talk to the person who wrote the code.

There is no account manager here, no discovery workshop, and nobody who will take your question away and come back on Thursday. The person who answers your email is the person who built the engine this page describes.

That is a limit on how much we can take on at once, and it is the reason the answers are specific.

PLAIN TALK

Before you write to us.

No customer in production yet.Finished software, no live deployment. You would find out eventually; better from us, now.
The demonstration data is invented.Articles, prices, stock, dates and manufacturers. The arithmetic is real; the catalogue is not.
There is no price list.Tell us your volume and your segments and we will give you a number we can stand behind, rather than publish one we cannot.
We replace the portal, not the ERP.And we will not bolt this onto an existing portal. If yours is working for you, this is not for you.
